Marriage

Danny and I have been married for 6 years today. We have done a lot in 6 short years. We got married and moved to Columbus, GA where I was a Pediatric ICU nurse at the same hospital where my mother in law works and Danny taught Zoology and Biology to high school students while going through the medical school application process. (I still laugh at this career backup plan. For those of you who know Danny, can you imagine him teaching)

We honeymooned in Vegas and Danny showed me the medical school while we were there and said "how about I apply here?" I told him ABSOLUTELY NO WAY! Next thing I knew, he was accepted and we were packing our bags. It was the best thing we have ever done!! We met our best friends, (Adam and Ashley), bought a house, had two babies (met Jen), and traveled to Arizona, California, and Utah while living there. I adore the South but can't imagine what I would be like if I had never left. I have seen so many things, met wonderful people, and opened my eyes to different ways of living. I miss Vegas every single day. Living there was like being on a permanent vacation. Then we moved to Michigan.

So after 3 states, 2 babies, medical school, homeownership, and many other things, we are going strong. Enjoy the pictures

This is our little house in Vegas. This place holds so many memories that I will never ever forget. It's the place we brought our sweet babies home to.

We got to water ski on Lake Mead. How cool is it to swim by the Hoover Dam! (thanks to Adam and Ashley)
